Sunshine Of Your Love, 1968 LIVE!!!
Maybe their most brilliant creation as a trio. This performance has no equal.
Baker's fill at 1:57.....incredible ......Drums sounding as if they're pounding it out from hell itself.....
Maximum Blues Triumph Ego Cracking Up
Still can't get over the Hendrix perm on Clapton. And this is probably before they met Hendrix!
Bass! Wah! Drum!❤
I've been a JT for over fifty years and it takes the blessing of UA-cam to reach my ears. Mercy! Thanks for sharing!
My older brother saw Cream in a 1000 seat club on their first tour. He sat 5 feet from Clapton. Five feet from Clapton. Five feet from God. Although we shouldn't worship false idols an exception shall be made for Blues men playing through a marshal Stack* The Book of Revelations (Acts 16:11-15)
It’s a shame Ginger hated Jack which is why they broke up
うますぎて気持ち悪いんだよな なんだよこのトリオ
CREAM FOREVER
The greatest trio ever.
The Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Damn, the way Jack Bruce plays that bass is godly!
The one and only quintessential consumate rock trio. Can anyone in their right mind even imagine these guys ever being equaled or surpassed ? You would have to be insane to even think that. Are you from Mars or what ?
Dems . want to change to " I'm So Gay " ok with me, music is music ? .
3 Brits life is good.
This will go down as some kind of monument in Western Music, as a chamber ensemble or something; I wish classical musicians would pay more attention to it. An absolute marvel of improvisation. Almost out of this world. As an aside, I wish Clapton had developed his playing along the lines of around 5:20, but, for those moments, move over Eric Johnson ...
I’m a classical musician. This is off the scale brilliant.
@@camdenreeves4834 Indeed you are a classical musician ... as well as a fine and noted composer. (I invite you to take a look at some of my work) - cheers and Best Camden.
Áldott a kezed Eric
ok hypnagogic. very short
music JT still live. see you later alligator.
Life is so good, got kittens playing on the front stoop. Love America, vote Trump.
Two zombies and Jack Bruce!
I was confused, just like Hendrix.
3 man group ? Cream or The Experience ?
They would give them selves solos throughout every song: Cream, featuring Ginger Baker; Cream featuring Eric Clapton; Cream featuring Jack Bruce! And on it went.
Amazing!
Sounds like this could have been a backing track with vocals to be added on later ... maybe?
cream.. has early seeds of... heavy metal... in a traditional sense
i can't explain my love for jacks voice
I'm so glad too!
I am so glad too Wtih 70 years listen Clapton..this 2024..Amigos..
With Sweet Wine and Crossroads a favourite.
one things for sure, thats not a strat there...
That bass tone would cut concrete like it was soft butter…
Imagine, exploreing acient lands with your aphrodite? And then she sings, caught in the net with purple white fishes. a) do you jump in, b) sing louder, c) fold, d) request a new boat, e) none of the above.?
70, on the 31/st and all I want is CREAM, on 11,from dawn to midnight....and something to smoke
believe I'll need a black bottom pie ,too
All at their brilliant best 🙌
Best solo I’ve ever heard in my 21 years of living
Fantastic drumming.
.
Not long enough. A hypnagogic moment...
The greatest jam ever. All 3 guys playing at the peak of their abilities.
Back when Clapton was still God
Im 65 ive seen many things 9:33
From about 1:30 on (especially) Bruce's bass playing is just stunning. All three of these guys made up the greatest power trio ever (and I don't count the JHE because it was really never as complete in technical skill overall...but I love Hendrix too).
Epic tune😊❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great band.Mick was great
I guess it might be important to mention: This song was written By Eric and his flatmate, Martin Sharp. Both had a mutual friend, so Martin gave Eric lyrics for a poem, which Eric composed. I guess Eric just thought Jack's vocals would do better.
At its very best - and for me, I’m So Glad is pretty much their very best! - Cream was the product of three superb musicians, ALL soloing at the same time !! Ok, there was a structure that undergirded the whole piece - but each was doing their own thing throughout! Breathtaking !! Of all their repertoire, I’m So Glad with the ultra simple lyrics and really tight vocal harmonies, gave them the perfect base to absolutely perfect this technique. I have LOVED this performance for 50 years -and still do. Best Blues-Rock band ever ……. by a distance.
Let us never forget: Jimi said the first time he ever heard a wah pedal was on Cream's powerhouse performance of this song on the BBC. He immediately rushed out to the same store where Eric got his wah (Mannys in New York) and got himself one! In other words: Jimi followed Eric in getting a wah pedal; he followed Eric to Longdon (Jimi's manager, the Animals great Chas Chandler, is on tape saying Jimi would only come to London with him if he would introduce him to Eric. Jimi played through Marshall Amps (Erics)for the first time the night he jammed with Cream, the original Power Trio (before anyone knew who Jimi was. So Jimi followed Eric and went out and bought Marshalls and started a power trio. Up through Cream's final year in 1968 they outdrew Jimi, the Stones and everyone else in the world live. They were more acclaimed by serious musicians, including jazz players, than the Experience. And Eric Clapton was The most acclaimed Rock guitarist in the world, with Jimi a very close second. The cool thing is that music is not a competition, and Jimi and Eric were each others first choice on guitar. I was fortunate to see Cream Nov. 3 68 at the Baltimore Civic center, and Jimi at the same venue May 16/17 1969. When the Jimi's last notes rang out at the 12am curfew, it was my 19th birthday, so I can truly say Jimi played at my birthday (he just didn't know it). Btw those were the only front row center seats I ever had: cost my $6.50! Cream and Jimi were the two best concerts I ever attended.
Jack’s and Ginger’s playing is from another galaxy…. 🎶👍❤️🎶👍❤️
